Hello.

I’m Seb and I am a musician based in Miami Nice Studios Berlin, Germany.

Playing, making and learning music was always what I wanted to do since being a little child. So after countless music lessons, forming rock, jazz and Neo-soul bands in my teens and finally studying jazz bass and finding mentors, here I am being a musician and trying to discover all I can about this mysterious wonder called music.

Mostly what I do is playing bass live and in the studio and producing/writing songs.

Sometimes I arrange / operate shows via Ableton Live, transcribe music for other people or teach but you get the idea.

I feel equally at home on electric and upright bass (you can occasionally find me on guitar and keys).

Stylistically: rooted in soul music of all kinds and decades, jazz, indie pop and fueled by curiosity, my style draws heavily on experimentation — equally at home in the sounds of today as in the traditions that mean a lot to me.

Yet for me there just are no musical borders — just space to explore, experiment, and serve the song in ways which it calls for. (What is it calling for? Let´s find out!)

Years of experience, mentorship and luck have shaped my sound and sharpened my ears, taking me on tours across Germany, Europe, and beyond. You can hear my playing on records, in films, and in Netflix series.

If you want to see me live, I am currently mainly on tour with Drangsal and Max Mutzke, occasionally playing in theaters across Berlin, subbing for friends and playing with my own projects Mokhavii and The Corner and my songwriter outlet Wiedemauch.
